Definitions
"We", "Us", "Our": refers to slixoranttthrel, a New Zealand business operating in Patumahoe, Auckland.
"You", "Your", "Customer": refers to the person or entity hiring our furniture and props.
"Goods": refers to all furniture, props, and items provided for rental.
"Services": refers to rental, delivery, setup, and collection services.
Application of Terms
These Terms of Trade apply to all transactions between you and us. They form part of every rental agreement unless specifically varied in writing.
These terms are governed by New Zealand law and are subject to the jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986.
Pricing and Payment Terms
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.
Payment terms:
- A deposit may be required to secure your booking
- Final payment is due before or on the delivery date
- We accept payment by bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed methods
- Late payments may incur interest charges as permitted by law
Booking and Cancellation
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a signed agreement and deposit (if required).
Cancellation terms:
- Cancellations more than 14 days before the event: full refund minus a $50 administration fee
- Cancellations 7-14 days before: 50% refund
- Cancellations less than 7 days before: no refund unless we can re-rent the items
- We reserve the right to cancel bookings in exceptional circumstances, with full refund
Delivery and Collection
Delivery and collection times will be agreed upon at the time of booking. You must ensure:
- Access is available at agreed times
- Pathways are clear and safe
- Someone is available to receive or return items
- Items are ready for collection at the agreed time
Additional charges may apply for:
- Delays caused by customer unavailability
- Difficult access requiring special equipment
- Extended rental periods
Care and Responsibility
You are responsible for the care of all items during the rental period. This includes:
- Protecting items from damage, theft, or loss
- Using items only for their intended purpose
- Not modifying or altering items without permission
- Reporting any damage immediately
You will be liable for:
- Repair costs for damage beyond normal wear
- Replacement costs for lost or stolen items
- Additional rental charges for late returns
Your Consumer Rights
These Terms of Trade do not limit your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986. You have automatic guarantees that our goods will be of acceptable quality and fit for purpose, and that our services will be carried out with reasonable care and skill.
